Lincoln Square

Lincoln Square is a community area on the north side of Chicago, bordered by Ravensood Ave to the east, Montrose Ave to the south, the Chicago River to the west and Bryn Mawr Ave to the north. Within Lincoln Square there are four neighborhoods, each with their own flavor; Bowmanville, Budlong Woods, Ravenswood & Ravenswood Gardens.

Lincoln Square is home to The Old Town School of Folk Music, moving up from Lincoln Park in 1998. The CTA's Brown Line cuts through the southern portion of Lincoln Square, making downtown commutes easy. Maifest, The Square Roots Festival (formerly the Folk & Roots Festival) and The German-American Fest are three destination events in Lincoln Square.
